Weeks of Welcome
The first two weeks of each semester are called “Weeks of Welcome” (WoW). Each campus coordinates a variety of social activities and educational programs aimed at easing the transition to college-level work.
WoW events are a great way to meet other students, interact with faculty and staff, and get better acquainted with resources, opportunities, and expectations. We have also focused these events on incorporating the Four Pillars or Success.

Pollinator Garden Come be a part of The Great Southeast Pollinator Garden: protecting the Southeast’s pollinators one count at a time. We will be counting pollinators (butterflies, bees, beetles, and more!) as a part of a citizen science project happening simultaneously in Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Florida, and Alabama. No special knowledge of pollinators or gardening is required!
