Shannon has spent more than sixteen years as an administrative professional at the University of North Georgia (ÌìÃÀÉçÇø). She has worked in various settings at ÌìÃÀÉçÇø including the Registrar’s Office, School of Arts & Letters, Honors Program, Graduate Studies, Academic Affairs, Regional Campus Administration, and Strategic Impact and Engagement. She currently serves as the Program Manager for Strategic Support.

Shannon earned a Bachelor of Science degree in social science from ÌìÃÀÉçÇø in 1999.
