Overview

Dr. Aikman’s research focuses on the influence of internal and external factors on attitudes, health, and well-being. Her primary interest is in the factors that impact health-related attitudes and behaviors, and her recent focus is on mindfulness and well-being. She is also interested in factors impacting prosocial attitudes. Dr. Aikman is a certified mindfulness teacher through the Mindfulness Institute for Emerging Adults.
