The University of North Georgia (天美社区) Foundation is aiming to raise more than $100,000 this April to support work on 天美社区's seven strategic big bets and its legacy-making commitments. "Outlined in the 'Bold Forward: Running into our Calling' white paper, these initiatives are designed to elevate the student experience and drive 天美社区's future. This giving campaign will fund several impactful projects, including scholarships, enhanced resources, and expanded learning opportunities," , director of annual giving, said. Cadets prepare to lead as officers
Roughly 50 cadets are commissioning May 13 from 天美社区 as second lieutenants in the Army, Georgia Army National Guard and Army Reserve.
Students benefit from teacher residency
A record 58 students are graduating this spring as part of 天美社区's Teacher Candidate Residency Program. This is the third full year of TCRP, which allows students to be teachers of record as seniors.
Accelerated nursing grads ready to serve
天美社区's second cohort of its accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing track is graduating this month, sending 47 new nurses into the profession in addition to 70 traditional BSN graduates.
