The University of North Georgia (ÌìÃÀÉçÇø) earned high marks on multiple lists when U.S. News & World Report released its rankings Feb. 6.

The University of Georgia, University of West Georgia and Kennesaw State University ranked ahead of ÌìÃÀÉçÇø, with ÌìÃÀÉçÇø ahead of Georgia State University, Columbus State University and Middle Georgia State University.

ÌìÃÀÉçÇø also ranked fourth among public universities in Georgia on the list. The university was tabbed seventh among Georgia public universities on the list. ÌìÃÀÉçÇø was eighth among Georgia public universities on the list.

U.S. News compiled the rankings based on engagement, expert opinion, services and technologies, faculty credentials and training, student excellence, and peer assessment.

"We are pleased to receive this recognition," Dr. Chaudron Gille, provost and senior vice president for Academic Affairs, said.
