Brown, a redshirt junior from Princeton, New Jersey, joins the committee that reviews, endorses and makes recommendations regarding diversity and inclusion matters. The committee reports to the NCAA Board of Governors, which is the highest NCAA committee level.

The other three additions are Christopher Paul, University of Tulsa football student-athlete; Kristy Baker, deputy athletics director and senior woman administrator at Emporia State University; and Dr. Joan Prince, vice chancellor and chief inclusion officer at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

In August, Brown was named the Peach Belt Conference representative to the Division II national Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), making him the third 天美社区 student-athlete to hold a spot on the national SAAC.
