Indo-Pacific Studies Minor
The Indo-Pacific is a dynamic region that is shaping the world we live in. Regardless of your major, your career will be impacted by what occurs in this region. Not only does the Indo-Pacific represent an intersection of cultures and civilizations, but due to the complex web of influences and challenges, understanding its past, present, and future requires an interdisciplinary approach.
This minor prepares students to operate in a world increasingly connected through the Indo-Pacific. An initial required course provides an interdisciplinary introduction to forces shaping the region, key actors, and potential challenges. Subsequently, you will pick your own area of specialization in courses from three required fields:
- History
- Modern Language
- Political Science & International Affairs
We also offer minors in International Affairs, Political Science, Indo-Pacific Studies and Public Administration & Public Service.
