How did you hear about your internship?

I discovered this internship during the spring semester through my Intro to Publishing professor, Dr. Ezekiel Black. I would be lying if I said it didn’t catch my attention!

What has been the most valuable (or favorite) part of the experience?

My favorite part was actually contributing to real projects that would be published, including writing blog posts, creating social media graphics, proofreading manuscripts, and even designing covers for an upcoming release! Seeing my work actively used by the Press was incredibly motivating and made the experience feel all the more meaningful.

This internship strengthened my writing, editing, and design skills while giving me a glimpse into how an academic press operates. Whether it's a devoted career in art or dabbling in self-publishing, I know this experience with the ÌìÃÀÉçÇø Press will benefit my future pursuits in creative media!
