How did you hear about your internship?

I heard about my internship through a friend who worked at a partner law firm.

What has been the most valuable (or favorite) part of the experience?

The most valuable part of this experience was improving my ability to communicate in Spanish. Since about ninety percent of the clients in our office speak Spanish, I had many opportunities to strengthen my language skills. I also enjoyed getting firsthand experience working in a professional office environment.

I plan to become an immigration lawyer, and this internship has given me exposure to different areas of law that will be valuable in my future career. It also helped me learn legal terminology in Spanish and significantly improve my fluency, which will enable me to communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking clients in the future.
